General Meeting

There will be a general meeting on the 24th of September. And it is compulsary for all members to attend. As we have alot of updates, upcoming events, projects to notify all the existing members. this will be the one and only meeting until the start of November as final exams of this last semester will be ongoing from October till November. So, please remind your friends and more importantly yourself to make it! The time and place will be the same 5HB class 7.30am - 9.00am :)

Hello! hope the readers are doing well :) it's time for the monthly update :D On the 21st of August we had our Selangor Region 7 & 8 Leo Clubs 11th Joint Installation! It was a long and stressful day but it was all worth it as all the incomings and newly inducted members were finally installed :') here are some photos of the event.

Moving on, and on the 28th of August, Leo Kieren, Leo Chee Hong, Leo Li Jin, Leo Wei Sheng, Leo Daryl, Leo Siu Fai and Leo Joseph went to Ipoh again for the 32nd Perak Leo Clubs Joint Installation. We had a fun 3 days 2 nights trip to ipoh and ate chiiiiiicccken rice :D check them photos out!

This Week 20/21 Projects and Joint Installation

This week Saturday on the 20th of August, we'll be having odd jobs and after that repaint the classrooms project, each and every member should attend these two projects except the form 3's. It'll be from 7am till 2pm.

And on the 21st! We'll be having our Selangor Leo Clubs Region 7 & 8 11th Joint Installation! It is compulsary for every member to atten this installation as this will install you officially as a member to the Leo Club.
Details are as follows-
Time: 1.30pm - 6pm
Place: Sri Sedaya Hall (if you don't know where it is, it's near Sunway Pyramid, still don't know google pls)
Price: RM20 per person.

STRICTLY CLUB UNIFORM OR FORMAL WEAR for members club uniform only. NO CASUAL clothing.

Last week, on the 12th of August 2011 we attended Leo Club of SMK Taman Petaling's Installation. It was the first time we had attended the school's Installation. Leo Chee Wei, Leo Hon Wah, Leo Ritchie, Leo Wing Yao, Leo Daryl, Leo Siu Fai, and Leo Joseph attended the event.

And on the 13th Leo Joseph and Leo Daryl both attended the Formation Day of Leo Club of Metro Methodist College Kuala Lumpur (O) Leo Michael Dev was installed into that club, he was formerly from Leo Club of La Salle Petaling Jaya, good to see another Leo moving on the Omega :) Here are some photos

Finally, on the 14th of August Leo Ang Chee Hong and Leo Joseph Travelled all the way to Ipoh to attend Leo Club of Ipoh Unity's Installation at the Fair Park Hotel, Ipoh. We travelled with Leo Club of PJI's President Leo Leong Wai Yew and Leo Kian Min, it was a 3 hour drive there and back, all in all a fun and awesome journey :) PHOTO!

Cupcakes Sales!

During Our School's 45th Annual Sports Day, The Leo Club of La Salle Petaling Jaya sold cupcakes that we made ourselves! :D On the 1st day of the month July, Leo Darius Beh, Leo Marcus Phillip Paul, Leo Joseph Tan and Leo Daryl Kok baked the carrot cupcakes after school for 6 Hours. We baked a total of 124 cupcakes! Here are some pictures.

During Sports Day, We also sold the Joint Eco Flash Mob Badges together with badges that were previously unsold. We sold the cupcakes at RM 1 per cupcake and in less then 3 hours we sold all 124 cupcakes! :DDD Here are more pictures.

Cleaning up the Science Garden Project : Part 1

On the 1st December 2010, the Leo Club Of La Salle PJ had a Cleaning Up the Science Garden Project at the school Science Garden. The project started at 9a.m. and end at 2p.m. Leo Jack Yong, Leo Danny Pek, Leo Benjamin Fan , Leo Marcus , Leo Darius , Leo Arnold, Leo Prakash , Leo Calvin and Leo Marcus's cousin Ryan , helped out during the project to clear out the earth in order to ease our time to paint the fence around the garden.

On the 29th November 2010, the Leo Club Of La Salle PJ had a CAR WASH PROJECT held in the school car park compound. The project started at 9a.m. and end at 2p.m.

TOILET CLEANING & INSTALLING AIR FRESHENER/ RECYCLING BINS

On the 22nd November 2010, the Leo Club Of La Salle PJ had a Toilet Cleaning Project. Leo Weng Ian, Leo Jack and Leo Benjamin Fan was there to help wash and clean three toilets of different level. This is to ensure the SPM candidates comfort during their SPM month. Below are the pictures

On the 23rd November 2010, the Leo Club of La Salle PJ organized a project which is installing air freshener in the toilet and recycling bins at the school porch. Leo Weng Ian , Leo Joseph ,Leo Brian Lum , Leo Jack , Leo Danny and Leo Marcus were there to help out. Below are the pics

SPM ARRANGING TABLE PROJECT

On 15 November 2010, the Leo Club of La Salle PJ organized a SPM ARRANGING TABLE PROJECT in the school. Leo Darius Beh, Leo Marcus, Leo Vissagan, Leo Bryan , Leo Danial Akmal, Leo Weng Ian and Leo Jack Yong were there to help arrange the tables for the SPM candidated. The projet started at 10.30a.m. and end at 1p.m.

The students and teachers were satisfied and the project went well and organized.

On 17 November 2010, the Leo Club Of La Salle PJ had an ODD JOBS PROJECT to raise funds for the club. Leo Darius Beh, Leo Marcus, Leo Weng Ian, Leo Joseph, Leo Danial Akmal and Leo Jack Yong had the odd jobs project done at the Gasing Indah neighbourhood. SPM Table Arrangement

Dear Leos,

On the 16th of November, all form 3 and 4 Leos are needed to go to school at around 7.30am to help with the arrangement of tables for the SPM candidates. The project will not take long as it probably will take up to 2 hours maximum. Leos are required to wear their school sports attire(PJK clothes) with school shoes. Please maintain your discipline not only by attitude but by attire as well. Hope to see you guys tomorrow!

Hello LEOS! :D

The blog will finally be active again!
We sincerely apologize for not updating the blog for such a long period of time.
Due to the examinations, the board of directors are quite busy preparing for their final examinations.
Now that it is over, we're able to start updating you guys on the Leo Activities that we will be having soon!

Here's a few new updates for you guys! :)
- Starting 2011, the members will have a new uniform!
- We have a lot of upcoming projects that will be carried out during these holidays! :)
- We'll be making our club t-shirts real soon!

Hey there Leo's!

One year has gone by with a blink of an eye and its hard to say the word "Goodbye" when your heart and soul is in something which you don't feel like letting it go. To me,its my Leo Club of SMK La Salle PJ. I really don't feel like letting my President post away but my fiscal year has already ended,and I got to let it go. 5 years serving in Leo Club of SMK La Salle PJ and being the Board Of Director for 2 years under the supervision of Lions Club of Subang Jaya, I've learnt alot of new stuffs which are LEADERSHIP,EXPERIENCE and OPPORTUNITY! This 3 stuffs really do changed me alot. So on behalf of my Board of Directors 09/10, I would like to thank my members for supporting me being the 26th President,my B.O.D who had stress alot serving under my year.

Not forgetting,I would like to take this golden opportunity to thank Ms Christie;our Teacher Advisor, Lion Charlie;Leo Advisor, Lion Yong; Past Secretary for Lions lcub of Subang Jaya and Lion Sang;Lions Club of Subang Jaya President 09/10 and Incoming ZC. Without you all, I wont be ruling the Leo Club for one whole year.

Incoming Board of Directors,hope you will do your best serving the community and achieve a greater heights for the club by working with your Incoming President,Darius Beh Yun Ji. I have faith on you Darius! Dont let the Past Presidents down!

Leo's,I just hope that you will enjoy serving the club under my year as the 26th President for Leo Club of SMK La Salle PJ as mush I enjoyed serving the club throughout my 5 years being a Leo.

ATTENTIONS Leo's,

As proposed during the 2nd RCC Meeting held at Taylor's University College on 7th November 2009, Leo Club of La Salle Klang will be hosting the 3rd RCC Meeting of the fiscal year 2009/2010 within the months of January and February 2010. However, due to Thaipusam celebration on the 30th January 2010, we would not be able to conduct the meeting on that particular week. Thus, the meeting would most probably be held on the 7th of February 2010, which falls on a Sunday.

The details of the 3rd RCC Meeting 2009/2010 stands as below for the time being:-

Date : 7 February 2009 (Sunday)
Time : 8.30a.m. - 1.30p.m.
Venue : Goh Tiang Chin Hall, SMK La Salle Klang
Attire : Strictly Club Uniform/School Uniform

Please be reminded that a fee of RM8 is charged to Leos who register and confirm their attendance before a stated deadline. (The deadline will be notified in a confirmation letter which will be sent later within this week). Otherwise, a fee of RM 10 is charged.

Thus, most administration work for this meeting will be done through the internet or other communication means.

To fellow Leo Presidents/Secretaries, kindly reply and make a confirmation with your respective club members if 7th Feb is O.K. for them. Any feedback regarding this matter is much appreciated. Thank you. "

Well Leo's,there's a post below this post regarding about the Leo logo on the vest. I received some information from Joseph saying members don't want to pay for the logo. Well members,its up to your choice. You don't want to pay, its up to you. But when you see the B.O.D's has the logo on their vest,don't come searching for me saying "I want to put the logo".. I will not help you on that!! Take note on this!! "Joseph,please do tell the members about this post"
